Micro dermabrasion is an amazing tool in the fight against aging. Generally, micro dermabrasion results can include: improvement in the appearance of acne-prone or blotchy skin, removal of fine scars or wrinkles, rhytides, milia or sebaceous hyperplasia (those nasty little red bumps you get on the back of your arms) and enlarged pores becoming smaller. Sun-damaged skin or uneven texture can also improve as a result of microdermabrasion treatment.
Microdermabrasions use hand-held devices to circulate high-pressure micro diamond crystals onto the skin. The machine mixes gentle dermal abrasion with suction in order to remove the outer skin layer (10-15 microns).
