July 1st is the BIG Day! June 28, 2008

At long last, I am so happy to tell you that facelogic Town Center will be open for business on July 1, 2008.  The sign is up the furniture is in place the product is here.  So come out on July 1st to book your appointment.  We have alot pre-booked and as it stands now, the first available appointment is Saturday, July 12that 9:00am.  Any takers?  In the meantime, here is the progress on film….

 

 

 

We have a whole month of Grand Opening activities planned.  Mark your calendars for a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Mayor on July 18th and an all day Grand Opening extravaganza on Saturday the 19th.  We will be giving away prizes all day long including free facials for a year!  We will cap it off with a big ole’ party Saturday Night!  Thanks to everyone for their support throughout this whole process.  We could not have done it without you!!!

 

Moving Right Along! June 22, 2008

Fabulous news is we have a CO (Certificate of Occupancy)!  Even more fabulous is that the whole place looks put together and painted.  It looks like an amazingly fabulous place where people will want to come and have facial services and relax.  Here is the latest in picture fun…

facelogic Featured in the AJC Sunday Living Section! June 15, 2008

If you pick up the Sunday paper you will find an article that features facelogic on the front and back pages of the Living section (section M pages 1 & 8).  It features the spa in Roswell and its owner Judy van Heiningen and mentioned our soon to be opened spa in Kennesaw, Georgia.  The article on page M8 is the whole back page of the Living section which is fantastic press for facelogic and the facelogic brand.  We are listed in the article with Bliss Spa and 29 Spa – for spa enthusiasts you know what a huge brand Bliss is and 29 Spa comes from the Mondavi Family (famous for their Northern California wines).

Okay, Ladies… June 15, 2008

I have to admit, I think I see you all doing a much better job in applying and reapplying sunscreen and wearing your hats at the pool.  But there are a couple of you stragglers still with your Banana Boat Tanning Oil spraying yourselves down like an oil slick.  Now the business person in me sees dollars signs because come winter when the dark spots don’t fade you’ll come to me but the general wellness person in me says “Please Stop!”.  At facelogic, we take sun safety very seriously.  See our summer ad campaign below….

 

 

At our Grand Opening in July, we will be giving away “Sun Safe Pails” with sunscreen, hats and glasses to help everyone stay sun safe!  So come out and join us the week of July 8th for your chance to win!

Grand Opening Update June 10, 2008

So my piano room at my house has officially become a spa product warehouse.  I felt bad for the nanny who came today and had the look of complete “what have I gotten myself into”itiveness.   But since they are flooring and painting this week at the spa it is not an option for product to live at the store.  So, here is the proposed timeline for opening:

June 9th through 13th – flooring, final painting, fixtures, backroom cabinets installed

June 16th through 20th – curtain hanging, POD unpacking, furniture moving

June 17th scheduled to receive Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Kennesaw

June 23rd through 25th – stock spa products, back bar and make up counter

June 25th through 27th – employee training by Owners

June 30th through July 3rd – Corporate Training of employees & free facials for VIPs

July 8th Grand Opening of facelogic Town Center!!

This is the current schedule folks and we are planning on sticking to it provided there are no unforeseen circumstances.  So mark your calendar for  a blow out Grand Opening Party the week of July 8th – stay tuned on the specifics!
