So in the state of Georgia you need a license to open a spa – no surprise. BUT – your spa name MUST contain one of the following words “shop” or “salon”. Now seeing as my spa is neither a.) a shop nor b.) a salon – I would imagine that is a problem. Additionally, there is no way to expedite said license for a quick turn around for any reason like in our case: to close on our SBA loan. So we will wait the 7 to 10 business days for the State Board of Cosmetology to deign us worthy of a permit. Ah, the beauty of bureaucracy….

Welcome to the facelogic Town Center blog! We will use this spot to document and archive the creation of our spa. For more about the facelogic concept you can visit the website at www.facelogicspa.com Now for the logistics: we will be located near Town Center Mall in Kennesaw, Georgia on Ernest Barrett Parkway in the Shops at Ridenour shopping Center directly west of I-75 about 2 miles on the left. While the picture below is the end goal, I will be uploading current state and progress photos as we go. We look forward to making Cobb County beautiful!
